Abstract:
A 600 kV pulsed power generator, having a bipolar pulsed forming line coupled at its output, is used as a power source for a prolate reflector. With the reflector mounted in water intense pulsed electric fields of about 50 kV/cm are generated. This represents an important step towards demonstrating contactless medical treatment technology.
